Business Services

Many of our clients like to let us decide the topics to include in their weekly blogs. We don’t mind at all if you want to leave it to us, though obviously, any direction that you can provide is useful. Likewise, if you’d rather have more creative control, we can work with that too. We’re flexible!
Quite simply, every job is different. A short, snappy article about the best shampoos is a lot easier to write than an in-depth piece about a recent medical study. In addition to the actual writing, we have to take into account time spent researching the topic, plus proofreading afterwards. However, we like to think our rates are highly competitive, and we also offer reduced rates for bulk / regular work.
We’ve been working as copywriters and editors for years, and during that time have worked with some huge international companies. We’ve also helped start-ups and SMEs with their online content, and we’ve got some great testimonials and feedback as a result.
Usually pretty speedily! Obviously, it depends on the nature of the work, but generally speaking, we can get content back to you within a few days. If you need something within 24 hours, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
Firstly, we ask that you provide us with some details about what exactly you’re looking for. This might be in the form of a written brief or simply an email with a few notes jotted down. Then we’ll get back to you with a quote, and if you decide to proceed, we’ll make a start on the content for you.

Literary Services

Every book is different, and as such, the right literary agents for your novel might not be the same as someone else’s. As a result, I don’t have a list to send over. However, I aim to be as helpful as possible, and if I know of an agent that’s looking for a book like yours, I’ll let you know.
Don’t worry, I would never do that – and it’s a bit of a myth that this happens much in the literary world. Most authors have plenty of their own ideas!
Usually fairly quickly, though obviously, this depends on the nature of the work. If it’s an entire book, it might take me a bit longer.
In a nutshell – because all books are different lengths. A 40,000-word novella will take me far less time to edit / critique than a 120,000 fantasy novel.
I don’t believe in adopting an unkind approach. It’s not helpful to you and it doesn’t make me feel very good about myself either! However, I do believe in the value of constructive criticism. My aim is to offer practical, helpful guidance on how to improve your writing. Of course, you don’t have to follow my advice if you choose not to. I won’t be offended – it’s your story after all.
As a published author, I’ve got a lot of experience with editing, proofreading, and most importantly of all, developing a readable story. I’ve also been through the submissions process several times and have great insight into what works and what doesn’t. The copywriting background comes in handy too – I’m well positioned to cast an eagle-eye over your writing and offer suggestions on how to sharpen it up and improve it.
